Free crochet patterns

I love to crochet.!
I love finding free crochet patterns!
How about you?

My last link was to a site with no english patterns. To apologize here are some of my other favorite places to scout for free patterns:

The owl is one of many good patterns from Lion Brand (you need to make a free account).
The sun and rain mobile is from Coats Crafts

I also like the e-books from Crochet Me and Knitting Daily. I usually download a copy - just in case - when I see a new one. I would just hate to run out of to-do projects some day ;-)

The company behind the sites is Interweave and you can also find tips on jewelry making, mixed media, painting and drawing, quilting, sewing and weaving.
I get the newsletters - and they are mostly adds - but I also get a ton of inspiration.

Crocheted Converse Baby Booties

I knew when I first spotted the pattern that I HAD to make these. How cute are these crocheted Converse All Star booties?

I have made them in different colors for friends and neighbors. I just wish I had had this pattern when my own kids were baby bootie size.

I'm about to start a new pair for a friend of my nieces - I just have to decide the color. I don't know the sex of the baby yet - so I'm thinking black or red. What do you think is a good unisex color?

"What about the pattern?" you ask. Well, the pattern is free! How 'bout that! You find it at the Järbo garn homepage. Unfortunately it's not in English, but in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German and Dutch. I always make the stars blue like the real All Stars.
